Three prisoners detained in Isfahan sentenced to death , Majid Kazemi, Saeed Yaghoubi and Saleh Mirhashmi
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, citing the website of the Judiciary, on Monday, January 9, 2023, three people were arrested during nationwide uprising in Isfahan. Majid Kazemi, Saeed Yaghoubi and Saleh Mirhashmi were sentenced to death in Isfahan Revolutionary Court regarding a case known as Isfahan House.
Three other people arrested in the same case were sentenced to prison.
Three of those arrested in the nationwide protests, Saleh Mirhashmi Baltaghi, son of Seyed Kazem, Majid Kazemi Sheikh Shabani, son of Mohammad Reza, and Saeed Yaqoubi Kurdsafli, son of Karam Ali. Accused of “corruption on earth (Moharebeh) through the use of weapons.” Forming and managing a group with the intention of disrupting the security of the country and society and collusion. They were sentenced to death and sentenced to 10 years in prison on charges of membership and cooperation with Mujahideen.
Amir Nasr-Azadani, the son of Mohammad, a football player, was sentenced to 5 years in prison on the charge of “membership in illegal groups with the intention of disrupting the security of the country”, on the charge of “gathering and collusion” and to 16 years in prison for “assisting in Moharebeh”.
Soheil Jahangiri, son of Abdul Hossein, was sentenced to 2 years in prison for the charge of ” gathering and collusion”.
One of the three detainees was acquitted
An acquittal was issued for Jaber Mirhashmi, other detainees in this case.

The compatriots organized a protest rally against these executions in the morning today. And by chanting anti-government slogans, they protested the transfer of two of these detainees, Mohammad Broghni and Mohammad Qabadlou, to Gohardasht prison for execution.
Parents of Mohammad Ghobadlou moved to Gohardasht prison and were present in front of the prison. The protesting people also remained on the stage with Muhammad’s parents.
