“Tsunami of migration” and “brain drain” in the religious dictatorship ruling Iran is one of the serious social crises and problems and the topic of many media’s daily discussions.

Referring to the astonishing statistics of brain drain in Iran, the Ferraro website wrote: “80% of Iran’s top ranks in mathematics and physics have emigrated from the country in the years 2001 to 2016. Of this number, an average of 78% of the elites have not returned to the country… The data related to 2018 shows that among the top 10 ranks in 2001 in the field of mathematics and physics, only two of them have remained in Iran.
This media continues: “In Iran, not only policies adopted that make the elites run away, but there is also an indifferent view of the export of the elites from the country.”

And those who not “aligned” should removed and instead of them, 15,000 “aligned” Basijs enter universities. Now the question before everyone is, what is the goal they are pursuing with this work?
Removal of professors and elites
It is clear that the current professors, who subjected to purges and expulsions, naturally not opponents of this government and entered the universities as professors after passing through the various filters of this system. But the current situation of Khamenei has become so weak that he can’t even bear to hear and accept the criticisms of the same “former insiders” and has started a second cultural coup in universities.
In this way, the ground for the migration of the country’s scientific funds and the removal of professors and elites provided more and more.
The destructive effects of such actions in the whole country can be in practice after a few years. Of course, this action and the project of purifying the professors is not something that needs a long time to find out its results, and only one part of it is the migration of brains and human assets of the country.
