This prisoner previously sentenced to death for deliberate murder. His death sentence carried out on Sunday, October 8. Mehrab Sintab, who was 38 years old, killed his wife in 2021.
The execution of this prisoner not yet officially announced by the authorities. Additionally, at least 31 prisoners executed in Iranian prisons within last two weeks.
There are no modern laws in the judiciary of the government
The lack of modern laws in the judiciary system of the government and the absence of classification in murder cases has led to intentional murder being considered a crime regardless of motive or history. This crime also results in the issuance of a death sentence in the government’s penal laws. Abolishing the death penalty in 104 countries

Currently, only 34 countries use inhumane execution as the death penalty. Iran, under the rule of fundamentalist leaders, ranks second in terms of the number of executions. And also first in terms of the number of executions per capita.
Many executions also not reported due to censorship. This censorship is particularly strong in the execution of women prisoner.
