In response to Mohsen Shekhari’s execution, Gohardasht prisoners wrote: “Don’t scare us by cutting our heads off”
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Saturday, December 10, after the execution of Mohsen Shekari, political prisoners of Gohardasht prison wrote in a letter. His blood is a light on the way to freedom. They said to the government executioners, leaders, and judges. “Until yesterday, you killed the youth of this land in the street, and you saw heroes. And from now on, legends will be born on the gallows, who kiss the gallows with the same slogan. long live freedom, and death to Khamenei. So don’t scare us by beheading.”
The full text of the letter of political prisoners of Gohardasht prison is as follows:
A freedom martyr is a light that illuminates the path to freedom, strengthens determinations, and strengthens covenants and promises. Because by sacrificing himself, he calls the souls thirsty for freedom and justice to the final destination.
This fact puts the government in a deadlock and every freedom martyr guarantees the continuation of the uprising.
The burial, the seventh and the fortieth, and every memory of them is a renewal of the agreement to follow their path, and this terrifies the entire regime.
What is the meaning of freedom martyr?
freedom martyr, meaning martyrdom of our youth who arrested, tortured, and sentenced to death due to street protests. By executing and sacrificing their lives, they become new blood in the veins of the whole movement. And the blue ring of ropes on their proud necks is like the crown of thorns that they put on Jesus Christ’s head during the crucifixion, it is sacred and a ring of honor.
That is why the girls and boys of their comrade shout in the street: This full flower is a gift to the motherland, or oh rebel Mohsen, your way continues.
As prisoners and arrestees of the uprising, I offer my sincere condolences to the family of Mohsen Shahid (freedom martyr). We say to the executioners of the government, their leader and judge… “Until yesterday, you killed the youth of this land in the street, and you saw heroes.
