Abdul Rahman Mozafari was executed in Sanandaj prison after 17 years in prison
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Sunday, May 28, 2023, Abdul Rahman Mozafari, a prisoner accused of murder, was executed in Sanandaj prison, while he had spent more than 17 years in prison.
According to an informed source, he was from Qorwa city in Kurdistan province and was imprisoned in Dizelabad prison of Kermanshah for more than 17 years on the charge of intentional murder. Two or three months ago, he was transferred to Sanandaj prison to serve his sentence.
He had been transferred before to fulfill the sentence, but after the non-execution, he was returned to prison again.
