Suspicious murder of Arash Faruzandeh Jamali, one detainees of nationwide protests
Arash Faruzandeh Jamali, one detainees of the nationwide protests, died suspiciously after his release.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on March 19, 2023, Arash Jamali suspiciously poisoned after arrested by plainclothes forces and died after a few days.
Arash Faruzandeh (Milad Faruzandeh), born in 1990, was from Abadan and lived in Tehran. On March 10, 2023, he arrested by several plainclothes agents during a nationwide demonstration in Imamzadeh Saleh. After an hour, the agents gave him a bottle of water to drink and then released him.
According to reports, after reaching home, Arash Faruzadeh Jamali had stomach pain and severe nausea and vomiting. He was taken to the hospital.
After a few days, on March 18, 2023, he suffered nausea and vomiting and taken to Shariati Hospital as an emergency. He died on the morning of March 19, 2023.

The doctors of the hospital declared the cause to be liver failure. This was despite the fact that he had no medical history and was completely healthy before his arrest.
