Government agents used shotguns and tear gas in the attack on family of Javad Heydari, a martyr of Freedom Road
Report of the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Thursday, September 21, 2023. On anniversary of death of Javad Heydari, security agents attacked his house with tear gas ,shotgun and injured his family.
Agents tried to prevent this family from leaving to celebrate the anniversary of their son’s martyrdom. And by shooting tear gas, shotgun’s bullets, and stones.
The shooting at this house injured and caused breathing problems to a number of people present in the house, including children.
In a phone call, Fatemeh Heydari, while crying profusely, informed about the attack on their house with a lot of forces, firing tear gas and shotgun’s bullets.
Family threatening
This family threatened since yesterday. Security forces sent by bus to Rahmat Abad Qazvin village to suppress the family of Javad Heydari and the villagers. The intention of the security agents in this brutal attack was to prevent the celebration of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Javad Heydari by his family and friends.
The agents also cut off the Internet in the entire village.
Javad Heydari, from Qazvin, 40 years old, was an agricultural student. On September 22, 2022, he killed by security agents during a nationwide demonstration.
On the anniversary of the uprising and protests of 2022, the government, fearing the increase of popular uprisings and protests, and to prevent gatherings and demonstrations, will take any action and any anti-people reaction.
But despite all the restrictions, brave people are trying to hold the ceremony and anniversary of their loved ones’ martyrdom.
