Chief Justice of Isfahan Province requested the Supreme Court’s final opinion on the case of three people who arrested during the nationwide protests
Asadollah Jafari, Chief Justice of Isfahan Province, wanted to speed up the decision of the Supreme Court. He has requested a quick decision for the case of three people who arrested in the national uprisings in Isfahan. The lives of Majid Kazemi, Saeed Yaqubi and Saleh Mirhashmi are in danger.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, according to Fars news agency, on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Asadollah Jafari, Chief Justice of Isfahan province, requested to speed up the announcement of the final opinion of the court regarding the case of three detainees. These three people accused of participating in the national uprisings of Isfahan, known as Isfahan House.

During the nationwide protests in Isfahan, 6 citizens of Isfahan arrested and tried in a case called Isfahan House. These six people accused of participating in the death of 2 Basiji and wounding of 2 others.
Monday, January 9, 2023. Isfahan Revolutionary Court tried three of these detainees, Majid Kazemi, Saeed Yaqubi and Saleh Mirhashmi and sentenced them to death. They are accused of “Moharebeh through the use of weapons, forming and managing a group with intention of disrupting the security of the country and society and collusion”. They also sentenced to 10 years in prison for membership and cooperation with the Mojahedin organization.
The preliminary death sentence of these three people was issued by Morteza Barati, the head of the first branch of Isfahan Revolutionary Court. And then referred to the Supreme Court.
The detainees in this case, including Saleh Mirhashmi, severely tortured during their detention. The intensity of his tortures was such that it was well observed during the meeting.
Majid Kazemi, another detainee, deprived of having an appointed lawyer in the preliminary court.
He was severely tortured and pressured to accept the charges.
Majid Kazemi was born in 1992, single and before his arrest, he worked in a copper workshop in Isfahan.
These three prisoners currently imprisoned in Dastgerd prison in Isfahan.
