Historical mystery: revealing the identity of the death commission members in the summer of 1988 in the provinces of Iran
The names and positions of more than 50 of the commanders and officials of the summer 1988 massacre and members of the death commission in Iran’s prisons.
In the continuation of its series of articles, the Iranian Human Rights Society publishes the names of more than 50 members of the death commissions in the provinces of Iran.
The following names include the main government officials who played a decision-making role in the killing of political prisoners in the summer of 1988. These people were all involved in the killing of 30,000 political prisoners in various provinces in Iran. The positions mentioned in the text are the positions that these people were working in during the terrible disaster of summer 1988. Some of these criminals are no longer alive.
Names of Death commissions members are as follows:
1- Abdulkarim Mousavi Ardebili: The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, as the highest judicial authority, received the first verdict for the massacre from Khomeini and was aware of the details of the 1988 massacres.
2- Mohammad Mousavi Khoiniha: Member of the Supreme Judicial Council – Attorney General of the country
3- Morteza Moghtadaei: member and spokesman of the Supreme Judicial Council
4- Seyed Mohammad Mousavi Bojnurdi: member and spokesman of the Supreme Judicial Council
5- Seyed Mohammad Hassan Marashi Shushtri: member and spokesman of the Supreme Judicial Council, one of the main founders of the judiciary.
6- Ali Fallahian: Deputy Minister of Intelligence
7- Javad Ali Akbarian: Deputy Minister of Intelligence
8- Gholamhossein Mohseni Ajei: Representative of the Judiciary in the Ministry of Intelligence
9- Hossein-Ali Nayeri: President of Tehran Islamic Revolution Courts and President of the Death Board
10- Mostafa Pour Mohammadi: representative of the Ministry of Intelligence

11- Morteza Eshraghi: Prosecutor of Tehran
12-Seyed Ebrahim RaisAl-Sadat (Ebrahim Raisi): Deputy Prosecutor of Tehran and one of the main members of the Death Commission
13- Ali Mobasheri: Sharia judge of Tehran (replaced by Hossein-Ali Nayeri)
14- Mohammad Esmail Shushtri: Head of the Prisons Organization and one of the main members of the death commission
15- Ali Razini: Head of the Judicial Organization of the Armed Forces
16- Seyed Hossein Mortazavi Zanjani: Head of Evin Prison
17- Mohammad Moghisehie(known as Naserian): Head of Gohardasht prison
18-Mirzanjaf Aghazadeh: Head of the Death Board of East Azerbaijan province
19- Mukhtar Heydarzadeh: Prosecutor of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Azerbaijan
20- Khalil Abedi: judge of Sharia in Tabriz

21- Mahboubi: representative of the Ministry of Information from East Azarbaijan province
22- Ali Dadizadeh: Deputy Prosecutor of Tabriz
23- Haj Seyed Abulhasan Chapari: Director General of East Azarbaijan Prisons Organization
24- Judge Tabatabai: judge of Sharia Ardabil
25- Mirzabiuk Khalilzadeh Moravej: Friday imam of Ardabil
26- Hossein Mirsadeghi: Prosecutor of Ardabil
27- Seyed Alireza Avaei: Prosecutor of the Dezful revolution
28- Shamsuddin Kazemi: head of Dezful prison
29- Gholamreza Khalaf Rezaei Zarea: Dadyar of Dezful city

58-Khalil Torabpour: Head of Adel Abad Shiraz Prison
Perhaps the identity of the members of the death commission in the summer of 1988 in the provinces of Iran is still unknown to many people. But this unveiling of their identity will cause questions to arise in the public mind, whether they are still in power?
