Families of freedom’s martyrs arrested on the eve of the anniversary of nationwide protests in 2022. Security agents arrested several families of martyrs on the way to freedom in the cities of Bukan and Saqez.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, security agents in the cities of Bukan and Saqez arrested the families of the victims of the Freedom Road, Mohammad Hassanzadeh and Mehsa Amini, and took them to an unknown location.

Ahmad and Solmaz Hassanzadeh, the father and sister of freedom martyr Mohammad Hassanzadeh, arrested by security agents in Bukan and taken to an unknown location. Mohammad Hassanzadeh, 28 years old from Bukan, stabbed to death by security agents on November 15, 2022, during nationwide protests.
Families of Mahsa Amini arrested
Also, at one o’clock in the afternoon today, security agents with three cars carrying more than 10 agents, raided the house of Safa Aeli, Mahsa Amini’s uncle, and arrested him. Ashkan Amini, Mehsa Amini’s brother, published this news on his page.

It must be noted that on the eve of the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people in 2022. The government of Velayat al-Faqih making extensive arrests of the families of martyrs of freedom movement and the detainees who were released that year. This is to control the situation and because of the fear of demonstrations and other uprisings these days.
Zhina (Mahsa) Amini was a 22-year-old girl from Saqez city in Kurdistan province. He came to Tehran with his family in September 2022 to visit his relatives. He killed on 25 September 2022 by the police officers of the Moral Security. His murder was the beginning of demonstrations and nationwide uprising of Iranian people in different cities. Which lasted for several months.
