According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Monday, January 15, 2024, the second court session of Fatemeh Mousavi held.
In this session, which held in Branch 103 of the General Court of Kahrizak, the accusations heard.
The court, presided over by Judge Seyed Ali Mosavi, held. The public court of Kahrizak district dealt with the charges against Fatemeh Mosavi for preaching against the government. Also conspiracy against national security. And also insulting the Supreme Leader, arson and destruction of public property. Fatemeh Mosavi also defended herself.
The arrest of Fatemeh Mousavi on June 25, 2023
Fatemeh Mousavi arrested by the security forces on June 25, 2023. He was first transferred to Shapur Detention Center. In this detention center, she was beaten by security agents. She transferred to the women’s ward of Evin prison on 28 June and from July 5, 2023 to Ward 2 of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
According to informed sources, during her detention, she deprived of having a lawyer, the right to visitation, and making phone calls. Security and judicial authorities refrained from announcing her charges, keeping her family in distress for a long time.
Finally, on August 1, 2023, Fatemeh Mousavi conditionally released from Evin Prison after depositing a substantial bail of 3.5 billion. A report by the Iranian Human Rights Society regarding the large bail of Fatemeh Mousavi stated:
“Fatemeh Mousavi , a children’s rights activist and a mother of two, one of whom is still breastfeeding, detained in their home in Shahr-e Ray on 25th june, 2023. The judicial system set a heavy bail of 3 billion tomans for her 23 days after the arrest. It took her husband two weeks to arrange the bail and she temporarily released from prison.”
Fatemeh Masouyi born in 1992, married, and has two children aged 2 and 8.
