The wife of martyr HamzehAli Nemati says: My husband left alive in the morgue until he died.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Saturday, December 9, 2023, the wife of HamzehAli Nemati, one of the martyrs of the path of freedom in November 2022, revealed another crime of government officials in a film that she published and said that her husband When he was injured and alive, they put him in the morgue to die.
A summary of the words of Mrs. Nemati’s wife:
“I am the wife of Martyr HamzehAli Nemati Martyr November 2019.
On November 16, my children were at our house. My daughter said come to our house at night. Nemati and I used to go to my daughter’s house together. In Sarqanat area, people were standing and doing nothing. My husband went to the pharmacy. The soldiers were dressed in the same uniform and wore masks.
When my husband returning, snipers shot at him from the top of the passage. Someone told me that the Basijis and Sepahis tore his clothes to pieces and took him away.
I went to the hospital on 12 Bahman, there were about 15 bodies. I reached over my husband’s head. looked at me He was shot in the head, but he was alive. His heart was beating. My husband and three other people were taken alive in the morgue.
I begged and said give an ambulance, my husband is a war veteran. They did not allow me to take my husband to another hospital. And took him to the morgue alive in front of my eyes.
They sent us a letter on November 18. We arrived at the morgue. We took my husband’s body and buried him at 12 o’clock at night. I could not attend my husband’s funeral. We saw that they killed 1,500 innocent people on 16 November.
I do not forgive Khamenei’s forces, i.e. the intelligence and the IRGC. I became displaced and homeless. My children became orphans. I just left it to God.”
Hamza Ali Nemati, 54 years old, was the father of several children. Since he was 16 years old, he had fought in the Iran-Iraq war front for 8 years and injured and had severe hearing and vision problems.
On November 16, 2019, he injured in the head by a shot by government agents. He transferred to 12 Bahman Hospital and while he was still alive and breathing, they put him in the morgue in the same condition to die.
About the nationwide protests of November 2019
The nationwide protests of the people in various cities of the country began in the early hours of November 15th, following the announcement of gasoline price hikes on November 14th. In order to prevent the spread of news related to the protests and the brutal suppression of these protests by the authorities of the Supreme Leader, the government officials completely cut off the internet in Iran from the afternoon of November 15th. These protests, which took place in over 190 cities across the country on a large scale, continued until November 18th.
During these nationwide protests, more than 1,500 people killed, thousands injured, and over 10,000 arrested and taken to detention centers and prisons.
The main slogans of the people during the November protests were “Death to Khamenei” and “Death to the principle of the Supreme Leader,” indicating that the people demanded the destruction of the integrity of this regime. Angry people set fire to and destroyed over 1,000 banks and 900 gas stations within three days.
