Three drug-related prisoners were executed in the central prisons of Karaj and Zabul
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, three prisoners were executed in the central prisons of Karaj and Zabul during the two days of May 30 and 31, 2023.
Ezzatali Sabzi and Mohammad Kazemi were executed in Karaj Central Prison (Karaj Penitentiary) in connection with drugs.
Ezzatali Sabzi, from Harsin, was the father of three children and has been in prison since three years ago. His brother Fardin Sabzi was also executed 11 years ago on charges related to drugs.
Another prisoner was Mohammad Kazemi, from Karaj. He was arrested on charges related to drugs and sentenced to death for this charge.
