According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Sunday, January 28, 2024, an hour ago, the families of political prisoners sentenced to death, Pejman Fatehi, Mohsen Mazloum, Mohammad Faramarzi and Wafa Azarbar, had their last visit before the execution of their children in Evin prison.
They called for the last visit on the 27th of January, in calls from law enforcement and security institutions.
This meeting is the first meeting of the families of political prisoners after 19 months of their children’s detention. They have been deprived of visits and contacts and deprived of the right to access a lawyer. According to their relatives, within 24 hours, the death sentence of these four prisoners approved by Branch 9 of the Supreme Court.

The families of political prisoners sentenced to death were not aware of their condition for the past one and a half years and also were denied contact and meeting with them. Prisoners’ families are also under pressure from the Intelligence Department.
