Parham is one of the detainees of the nationwide protests and is awaiting a trial on the charge of Moharebeh
According to the report of the Iranian Human Rights Society, the court date of the 25-year-old Parham Parvari, a young engineer from Saqez, has been determined on May 28, 2023. He is going to be tried in Branch 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Amouzad.
On November 9, 2022, he was accused of war by the prosecutor’s office of Evin prison.
On October 3, 2022, while he was returning home from work, in the midst of popular protests in Tehran, Parham Parvari was violently arrested and beaten by repressive agents.
After his arrest, he was transferred to Greater Tehran Prison. On Sunday, April 9, 2022, Parham Parvari was transferred to Evin Prison without prior notice from Greater Tehran Prison along with twenty other political prisoners.
One of his fellow prisoners writes about Parham:
“My acquaintance with Parham Parvari was formed in the 209-detention center of the Ministry of Information. Although I had spent nearly 40 days without glasses and could not recognize anyone’s face, the bruises and sometimes black spots on body and face were clear to me. A very calm boy who spoke English very fluently and beautifully.
He was kept in Detention Center 209 for nearly three months and then brought to Greater Tehran Prison. I will never forget that night when they brought him and another friend to our hall at the end of the night. Parham had become very thin and depressed and was under severe stress due to many mental pressures. Parham’s case is still in limbo after several months, and the date of his trial, which is in branch 28 of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court, has been changed several times!
Currently, the date of May 28 has been announced to him. And his lawyer, and the charge of Moharebeh is still valid!
Oppressor agents who fought with him and severely beat him. They sued him and claimed that Parham attacked them and injured them. While currently, none of them are responsible for his family and his lawyer to get consent!
The case is very serious and the life of this innocent and talented young man who is full of passion for life is in great danger! If we remain silent, they will take his life easily! I have lived with Parham, he has done nothing and does not deserve such a sentence! Please be his voice, otherwise again……
