The text of the statement is as follows:
It informs the Sunni people of Iran, especially the zealous Baloch men; Makki Zahedan Mosque (the heart of Sunni Iran) is currently under heavy siege by the repressive forces.
The barbaric soldiers are attacking and arresting the security forces and worshipers.
Office of Maulana Abdul Ghaffar Naqshbandi immediately called all zealous Baloch men after Friday prayers across province to protest and nationwide uprising and we warn everyone, if this barbaric act continues to wait for historical fatwa that will publishe soon on this channel (Maulana Naqshbandi).
Since the beginning of the protests and after the Bloody Friday of Zahedan in October 2022, the Makki Mosque has been the venue for Friday prayers every Friday, and the Baloch compatriots in Zahedan are holding anti-government demonstrations after the Friday prayers.
