Torbat Jam prison - an unknown prisoner with inhumane conditions; A prisoner's report

Torbat Jam prison is one of the few prisons about which there is not much information.

Torbat Jam prison is one of the few prisons about which there is not much information

In Torbat Jam prison, you can find any kind of industrial drugs, drugs that are difficult to find outside the prison. The following report written by a prisoner who released from Torbat Jam prison and pointed out some of the crimes committed by prison officials and agents. The Iranian Human Rights Center requests all citizens and prisoners to send us any information from inside the government prisons.

The leaders of the government try to create an acceptable face abroad and in international forums by keeping their crimes in prisons a secret. Offer. The news of the crimes of the government officials from inside the prisons can defeat this plan of the government leaders and expose them in international forums.

A report on the state of Torbet Jam prison has 3 wards. One section reserved for women and 2 sections for men. Of course, Torbat Jam prison has 5 men’s cells, but 3 of them not used so far and the prisoners are deliberately kept in inhuman conditions and in harsh conditions.

The head of the prison is a criminal guard named Ali Bayat

The head of the prison is a criminal guard named Ali Bayat, he is about 55 years old. Ali Bayat has no sense of honor and does not take any action to solve the problems of the prisoners. The head of the 1st guardhouse is from a Tehrani family and is about 50 years old. He has a very violent and inhuman behavior with the prisoners. Prisoners say that he is an animal in every sense.

Torbat Jam prison

Each ward has 14 rooms and there are 21 beds in each room. But currently there are between 40 and 45 prisoners in each room. In this way, there are at least 20 people sleeping on the floor in each ward. Each ward of this prison has a capacity of 300 people, but they have accommodated 1500 prisoners in each one, so you can imagine the condition of the prisoners in terms of health and safety.

Industrial drugs in Torbat Jam prison

There is no counseling section in Torbat Jam prison. There is a psychologist’s counseling ward, drug useprohibited there, the food is much better and the cleanliness is very good. Vocational training classes and Quranic reading sessions are held. Even smoking is prohibited there. Even smoking prohibited there.
In Torbat Jam prison, you can find any type of industrial drugs you want. Drugs that are hard to find outside of prison.

The quality of food in Torbat Jam prison is very low. And even animals don’t eat that food. The quality of food in this prison is very low and the prisoners are generally hungry.

Prisoners imprisoned in Torbat Jam Prison 4 political prisoners from Ahvaz deported to Torbat Jam Prison. These 4 prisoners are among the detainees of the 2019 protests in Ahvaz. They deprived of prison facilities such as leave, face-to-face visits, and the possibility of open or semi-open prison.

All 4 people sentenced to 28 years in prison. Their families travel from Ahvaz to Torbat Jam once every few months. One of them is Mehdi Ma’rabi and the other is Rahim Beit Astakhari. Of course, Rahim Beit Astakhri deported to Vakil Abad prison in Mashhad about 2 months ago.

Disclosure of crimes in prisons is the duty of every citizen

Disclosure of crimes in prisons is the duty of every citizen. This is a part of the hellish state of prisons in the medieval rule of Velayat Faqih. Prisoners either freedom fighters captured by repressive forces or victims of theft and looting of public wealth by government leaders.

Government leaders try to make prison conditions as difficult as possible for prisoners by imitating society. They want to nip any protest in the bud. But the explosive conditions of society and the protests in the prisons have shown that these desperate efforts have not affected the atmosphere of protest in society and the nature of those prisons.

By making the conditions of the prison more difficult, the government leaders want to insinuate to the prisoners that they will not have any accountability for their crimes. In these years, it has become clear that the disclosure of the crimes committed in prisons inside and outside the country and the reactions that follow, have terrified the heads of the government and it will be more difficult to continue these crimes.

So, it is the duty of every citizen to disclose any information and crimes of this government in prisons.

Iran Human Rights Society considers it as its duty to expose the crimes of this government against prisoners and we ask for help and cooperation from all people.
