Trial of fifteen youths and children for the murder of a Basij member in Alborz
The trial of fifteen young people and children held in Alborz and defendants tried on charge of “corruption on earth”.
The hearing on the charges of 15 youths and children following killing of one Basij members of Karaj who was involved in attacking and killing protestors held at Alborz Revolutionary Court. By changing the positions of the accused and the plaintiff, this court accused the accused of “corruption on earth”.
Iranian Human Rights Society. On Wednesday, November 30, Mizan news agency reported on the judiciary, which regulates news in favor of the repression forces and protesters, wrote: Ruhollah Ajamian was born on February 9, 1995. He was a Basij from 417th district of Kamalshahr, Karaj, who was killed on Thursday, November 3, during unrest and insecurity on Karaj-Qazvin Road, in Behesht Sakineh (S) area of Karaj, with the stabbing of some rioters.
On November 5 and 2 days after this incident, Hossein Fazli Harkandi, the Chief Justice of Alborz province, announced the arrest of several young men accused of killing this Basij.
According to the Chief Justice of Alborz province, “a number of thugs played a role in (killing) Basij Seyed Ruhollah Ajamian on Thursday, November 3, in Kamalshahr, Karaj, using knives, machete, boxing gloves and stones.” And with decisive judicial orders, they identified and arrested by General Intelligence Department of Alborz province.
On November 12 and 9 days after this issue, indictment of the defendants in the Ajamian case was issued.
Trial of fifteen youths and children
According to the Chief Justice of Alborz province, these accusations are written in indictment. “Corruption in the world by committing numerous crimes against the security of the country. Attack on Basij and Faraja resistance forces. A crime against the physical integrity of people, which has caused a severe disturbance in public order and insecurity in the country. And also, the martyrdom of Basiji security guard Seyyed Ruhollah Ajamian. Also, gathering and conspiring to commit crimes against the country’s security.
Today, Wednesday, November 30, and 18 days after indictment issued, the first hearing of the case of 15 people held in the first branch of the Revolutionary Court of Alborz province. The court presided over by Musa Asif al-Husseini, and it started with the presence of court advisors, lawyers of defendants, defendants, as well as father, mother, and relatives of Basij Ajamian.
In the court today, 3 of the 15 defendants in the case are 17 years old.
The Mizan news agency affiliated with the Suppression Group further described the accusations of 15 Iranian children and youth as follows, quoting the representative of the so-called prosecutor:
“The accused Mohammad Mahdi Karami, son of Mashallah, is accused of corruption in the world through crimes against security of the country. Attack on Basiji agents, community, and collusion against country’s security. The publication of calls against regime in cybersp acearrested.
The prosecutor’s representative announced the charges against fifteen youths and children accused in this case.
Names of 15 young people who are on trail for murder
1- Mohammad Mahdi Karami along with his friends Ali Moazzami, Reza Shaker and Najib Mohammadi left Nazar Abad and came to Karaj to participate in illegal gatherings.
2- Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, son of Seyed Hassan, accused of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the security of the country. Attack on police officers and Basij. and collusion against the security of the country
3- Arian Farzam Nia, son of Ali, accused of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the internal security of the country. and attacking Basij and Faraja agents
4- Amin Mehdi Shekrallahi, son of Farhad, accused of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the internal security of the country. Attacks on law enforcement officers and Basiji, community and collusion against the country’s security
5- Reza Arya, son of Yahya, accused of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the country’s security. and attacks on law enforcement officers and mobilization, actions against public order, society and collusion against the country’s security
6- Mehdi Mohammadi, son of Gholam Ali, accused of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the security of the country. and attacks on law enforcement officers and mobilization, community, and collusion with the intention against the security of the country
7- Shayan Charani, the son of Saeed, on charges of corruption in the world by committing acts against the security of the country, attacking law enforcement officers and Basij. and collusion with intent against the security of the country
8- Mohammad Amin Akhlaghi, son of Abdullah, accused of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the security of the country. Assembly and collusion with the intention of committing crimes against the security of the country
9- Hamid Qara Hassanlou, son of Muhammad Ali, accused of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the security of the country
10- Amir Mehdi Jafari, son of Parvez, accused of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the internal security of the country. and attacks on law enforcement officers and mobilization, assembly, and collusion with the intention of committing crimes against the country’s security
11- Reza Shaker Zwardehi, the son of Manouchehr, on charges of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the country’s security. and attacks on police officers and Basij
12- Farzaneh Qara Hassanlou, son of Gurban Ali, accused of corruption in the world by committing acts against the country’s national security. and collusion against the security of the country
13- Javad Zargaran, son of Mohammad Reza, accused of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the country’s security. and attacks on police officers and mobilization, gathering and collusion with the intention of committing the security of the country.
14- Behrad Ali Kanari, son of Abdul Reza, accused of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the country’s security. and attacks on law enforcement officers and mobilization, gathering and collusion with the intention of committing crimes against the country’s security
15- Ali Moazzami Godarzi, son of Dariush, accused of corruption in the world by committing crimes against the country’s security. and attacks on law enforcement officers and mobilization, community, and collusion with the intention against the security of the country. Also, the defendants played a role in the martyrdom of Basiji Ruhollah Ajamian.
The final result of the court
He added: “According to the complaint of Ruhollah Ajamian’s parents and the forensic evidence, the reconstruction of the crime scene.” and explicit statements of the defendants about committing crimes. and discovering criminal tools and instruments from the accused, reviewing the cell phones of the accused, and discovering criminal materials. As well as the published pictures showing the “killing” of Ajamian, I request the head of the court to impose severe punishment on the accused and to issue sentences commensurate with the crimes of the accused.
It is worth mentioning that following the killing of this Basiji, government agents have carried out extensive interrogations, torture, pressure, and interrogation of young people. And they forced many to do television interviews, staged murders and forced confessions in order to give them a heavy punishment.
The human rights society of Iran has warned about the lives of fifteen youths and children accused in this case and demands the immediate intervention of international organizations to stop the crime.
