Verdict of the Revolutionary Court
According to “Iranian Human Rights Society”. Seyed Ali Mazloum, Judge of Branch 23 of the Revolutionary Court, has sentenced Moghadasi to five years in prison on the charge of “gathering and collusion” and “disturbance of order”.
It should be noted that this student at Tehran University was arrested by the security forces on Saturday, September 24, on the way to the university and taken to Evin.
According to this report, Moghadasi was transferred from Evin to Fashafuye in October and his trial was held on November 14. The family of Moghadasi, a student at Tehran University, has been under pressure from the security institutions and the judicial system.
According to Benyamin’s friends, he was not even present at the protests, and he was arrested on the way to the university.

About nationwide protests
The recent nationwide protests started with the death of Mahsa Amini. Mehsa Amini, a 22-year-old girl from Saqqez. She arrested on the evening of Tuesday, September 13, near the Haqqani metro station. By (Morality Police) under pretext of wearing a veil and died due to blows to her head in Kasra hospital.
These protests started since then and have been going on for more than two months. In these protests, people are demanding the overthrow of entire system and want the rule of security, freedom and democracy.
During these protests, 539 people, including 61 children, died and more than 20,000 people (according to government statistics) arrested.
