A mother’s cry to save her child – Execution of four prisoners in Dehdasht prison, Saghez prison, and Sanandaj central prison
According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023, one prisoner executed in Dehdasht prison, one prisoner in Saqqez prison, and two prisoners in Sanandaj central prison.
These prisoners convicted of drug-related offenses and murder.
The cries of a mother before her child’s execution in Dehdasht
The prisoner who executed in Dehdasht prison named Zabihollah Arjmand. His mother, the night before the execution, tried to save her son by being present in front of the prison and crying out. Zabihollah Arjmand, born in 1988, arrested on charges related to drugs. On December 5th, 2023, he also transferred to solitary confinement for the execution of the death sentence.
On the morning of Wednesday, December 6, 2023, a prisoner named Kamal Elhami executed in Sanandaj Central Prison. He charged with sexual assault. He arrested four years ago on this charge and sentenced to death.
Execution in Sanandaj Central Prison
On the morning of Wednesday, December 6, 2023, two prisoners named Khaled Rouhi and Cyrus Heidari executed in Sanandaj Central Prison. These two prisoners accused of murder.
Khaled Rouhi from a village in Sanandaj. The other prisoner a 60-year-old man who executed after 12 years in prison. These two prisoners transferred to solitary confinement on Monday, December 4th, for the execution of the death sentence.
The execution of prisoners on drug-related charges is taking place while drug cartels are in the hands of the Revolutionary Guards and Khamenei.
Due to the widespread poverty and unemployment, many unemployed youths are forced to engage in activities such as drug trafficking. While the commanders of the Revolutionary Guards and also government officials play a serious role in controlling international drug cartels, these individuals still arresting.
