Hasan Firouzi is in coma after being tortured/Intelligence Ministry agents ask Hasan’s family for bail to give a pledge and say that Hassan is in healthy condition

He gone into a coma after being tortured. The agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and the prosecutor have threatened Hasan’s family that they should say that Hassan is safe. And they have to sign and give a financial guarantee that they do this.

According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, Monday, January 23, 2023. Hassan Firouzi is one of the detainees of the national uprising of the people of Iran. After his arrest, he severely tortured and now he is in a coma in the 504-army hospital. The officers of the Ministry of Intelligence and the city prosecutor pressured his family to take him home by posting a bail of 4 billion Tomans and give a pledge and signature that Hassan is in a healthy condition. But the family did not accept.

According to an informed source, “they told the family to bring a document and post a bond of 4 billion Tomans. Many times before, the family had asked for Hasan’s release on bail, but they did not accept it. But now that Hasan is in a coma, they say come give a pledge and sign that you have delivered him safely. It means that the family will be responcible for Hassan’s consequences. But his mother and family did not accept that.

This source adds: “The doctor of the hospital told Hassan Firouzi’s family that it is dangerous to transfer him from this hospital to another hospital. And if you do this, you will lose your child. But the agents strongly pressured Hasan Firouzi’s parents to transfer him, which they did not accept.”

This source adds: “Hasan Firouzi arrested in Tehran in November 2022. He lost one of his kidneys due totorture and subsequently resisted by sending audio file out of prison . And said not to give in to a forced confession.

And he himself refused to confess, that’s why they took him under brutal torture again and he went into a coma. Then he was transferred to the 504-army hospital and hospitalized.

Now that the possibility of Hasan’s survival is low, the Ray city prosecutor has put a lot of pressure on his family. So that Hassan’s family can hand over by signing a letter and admitting that Hassan is in perfect health. And in this way, to protect themselves from the responsibility of the consequences of this crime.”

Hassan Firouzi was born on September 24, 1988, married and has a daughter named Hananeh. Hananeh was 18 days old when her father arrested. Hassan Firouzi studied clinical nursing and employed at Sinai Hospital.

Hassan Firouzi arrested in 2019 during protests and fired from his workplace after his arrest.
