According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Saturday, August 26, 2023, a prisoner named Milad Yazdan Panah was executed in Zarand prison after six years of imprisonment.

He was 30 years old, a resident of Zarand, Kerman, accused of murder and was sentenced to death. The death sentence of this prisoner was carried out after 6 years of imprisonment.

Zarand prison is located in Zarand city and Republic Blvd., Ferdous, not reaching Bahnar.
