According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Thursday, June 15, 2023. The political prisoner Khosro Rahnama sentenced to five years in prison by Judge Iman Afshari in Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran. His charge is”association and collusion”.

After raiding his home at 2:00 AM, the agents of the Ministry of Intelligence searched his home and confiscated his personal mobile phone and that of his family members and took him to an unknown place.
On August 28, 2022, he arrested and transferred to Evin prison. After interrogation session at the Evin courthouse, due to the failure to deposit a heavy bail of 500 million tomans.
This political prisoner released in early October 2022, with a bail of 500 million. Mr. Rahnama sentenced to 5 years in prison and 2 years of exile on the charge of “propaganda against the system and society and collusion and cooperation and communication with the People’s Mujahideen”.
In this way, this political prisoner now has two five-year sentences.
Khosrow Rahnama is one of the political prisoners of the sixties and eighties. He is more than 60 years old, married and has two children.
