According to the Iranian Human Rights Society, on Thursday, January 12, 2023, political prisoner Fatemeh Muthannā, a mother of two children, is alive with serum injection. After 7 years in prison, at the age of 53, she has a bad physical condition, and her life is in danger.

According to a reliable source, political prisoner Fatemeh Muthannā has been imprisoned in Iranian prisons for a total of more than 10 years since she was a teenager. She has severe enteric fever, and her intestines cannot absorb food.

She receives two units of serum injection daily and is always on the way to the hospital or in the hospital bed. And suffering from enteric fever, according to the doctors, she is not able to bear the prison conditions. But despite this, she is still kept in prison and her release is prevented.

Doctors repeatedly increased the dose of her medication. And declared that her treatment in prison conditions would not be useful because she should be away from stress.

Fatemeh Muthannā arrested in 1981 when she was 13 years old. In prison, she faced the execution of his brothers by order of Khomeini.

She released after several years in prison and arrested again in 2015 with her husband . Fatemeh and her husband each sentenced to 15 years in prison. This political prisoner imprisoned since 2015.
